Registration opens 01 March 2021

Please note a change to the original date for this year's event from 19th June, the event will now be held on Saturday 11th September 2021.

Back for its seventh year, the Clifftop Challenge 2021 continues to provide adventure and entertainment, whether it’s a physical challenge you are after or a relaxing afternoon being entertained by some great bands, the Clifftop Challenge has it all!

There are runs to suit all abilities, ranging from the 55 mile Ultra, following a route from Hastings to Deal, to the 5 mile challenge, starting from Dover Patrol Memorial.  There's an Ultra relay, offering teams a chance to compete against each other, each team of 5 covering the 55 mile ultra route. Other distances include 36 mile Ultra, Marathon, 15 and 10.  Walmer Green, the finish point for all the runners, will be host to some superb bands playing on through until early evening, great food and some much needed re-hydration!

The previous 6 years’ events have raised over £130,000 for Breast Cancer Now and it is hoped that in 2021, with your help, we can 'push' this figure even higher.

The website, which will be regularly updated, provides all the details needed for you to get involved and information about the day’s activities.

11th September

Breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK. Breast cancer is the name given to cancers that have first developed in breast tissue. Thanks to research, more people are surviving breast cancer than ever before. More than 80% of women with breast cancer are still alive five years after diagnosis but around 50,000 women are still diagnosed with breast cancer each year, of which 12,000 women die of the disease.

‘Breast Cancer Now’ is the UK’s largest breast cancer charity, created by the merger of Breast Cancer Campaign and Breakthrough Breast Cancer. There cutting-edge research is focused entirely on breast cancer. ‘Breast Cancer Now’ have already made enormous progress in understanding the disease. Right now, breast cancer is at a tipping point. More women are surviving. But more are being diagnosed than ever before. One in eight women in the UK will face breast cancer in their lifetime. And every 45 minutes, another woman dies from the disease.

Through funding research, it is hoped that by bringing together the brightest minds, the boldest fundraisers and the most determined campaigners, that by 2050 everyone who develops breast cancer will survive.
